The DCSAC’s mission is to secure and provide community financial support for the extraordinary needs of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, with priority given to technological resources, specialized equipment, advanced training, and K9 unit support.

Since the inception of the DCSAC, the funds we have raised have been used for items that both enhance the daily operations and provide for the safety of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office personnel. The DCSAC has provided more than $1,000,000 to the Department for extraordinary items, including:

Fund Training and Programs

The DCSAC enhances the skills and education of Sheriffs’ Personnel by funding auxiliary trainings and programs not supported by the County’s budget. The Board of Trustees also provides funding to provide for tuition fees for advanced education. To date, we have assisted in providing funds for the following;
